Oils and Butters
We use essential oils and herbal infusions to scent our soaps vs. synthetic fragrance oils. There are many added benefits that essential oils/herbal infusions can provide that synthetic fragrance oils cannot. For example, many essential oils and herbs naturally have anti-bacterial, antiseptic and skin soothing/stimulating properties. While we use them because they are natural and smell great, we cannot ignore that nature gives us this added value.
Please note: Some essential oils can increase the skin\'s sensitivity to sunlight, increasing the chance of sunburn. Our lotions and balms are not intended to be used as sunscreens and do not take the place of such products. If extended exposure to the sun is in your plans for the day, wear sunscreen!
